A Cyprus based cryptocurrency exchange raises $22.3 million in a private sale

In an announcement made on IronX’s Telegram group, the Cyprus based muti-asset broker IronFX has sold 67.6 million of its token which took place as a private sale. The amount is approximately worth $22.3 million in fiat currency.

The Cyprus based exchange has partnered with EmurgoHK group, the same company behind Cardano and it is based out of Hong-Kong. Cardano (ADA) would be the base cryptocurrency behind IronX and in July 2018 ADA was integrated into IronFX’s trading platform.

According to the pinned telegram message on the company’s official telegram group, the companies building the cryptocurrency exchange have a user base of 1.2 million people.

In the next token sale, IronX plans to make $50 million by selling its tokens and this sale would be public. The public sale would start from the 1st of November to the 15th of December and the minimum amount to be invested would be $100.

Estonia granted the company to operate its exchange in Estonia in September 2018. The exchange is pursuing a license in Gibraltar.
